About the Olive Oil
Salvatore Cutrera and his family craft this award-winning, 100% Nocellara del Belice extra virgin olive oil exclusively for Manicaretti. All stages of oil production are carried out in minute detail and the harvest is stringently done by hand so that the delicate fruit is not damaged before being cold-pressed at the family's mill within six hours of being picked.

2021 Harvest Notes
Nocellara is as fresh as one can hope an extra virgin olive oil to be! This outstanding oil has the inviting aroma of tomato leaf and green tomato, followed by a pronounced grassiness, and ending with a long, spicy black pepper finish.

Pour over swordfish steaks topped with Gangi Dante Oregano and Caravaglio Salted Capers. Whip into an aioli with a touch of lemon juice and serve alongside lightly fried squid. Drizzle generously over grilled vegetables sprinkled with herbs. Toss with Bucatini with Tuna, Olives, Capers, and Lemon (AUTENTICOpg. 137).
