2022 Harvest Notes
Olio Verde was the first Sicilian olive oil made with 100% Nocellara del Belice olives and it continues to be a concentration of impressive complexity. The 2022 Harvest has the aroma of tomatoes, as if you’ve just opened a jar of tomato passata. The fruity nose is confirmed in the mouth by the pronounced flavor of perfectly ripe tomatoes, notes of green banana and herbs, and a hint of white pepper that amuses the palate. The oil is very well-balanced, with an unctuous and velvety mouthfeel, typical of Sicilian oils of the “New Generation,” which Olio Verde helped foster.
