Rustichella d'Abruzzo offers a selection of exquisite artisanal tomato sauces made with top-quality ingredients, created by the matriarch of the family herself, Nicolina Peduzzi. The Rustichella d'Abruzzo sauces are made with high-quality ingredients such as those Nicolina uses at home in Pianella. Vine tomatoes picked at perfect ripeness, as well as the finest extra virgin olive oil from Abruzzo, set these sauces into a category of their own. Nicolina's secret magic touch can be tasted in each one of the jars. 

Whole black olives bring toothsome texture and a delicate olive pungency to this delicious tomato sauce. Either heat before serving, or simply mix in with the cooked pasta. We also love it on pizza or as a base for fish stew.

These smaller jars of sauce contain the perfect amount of sauce needed to dress a package of 500 gr (1.1 lb) Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta as the Italians do: Italians like to eat pasta with sauce, not sauce with pasta! Thanks to the rough surface of the pasta, the sauce will adhere beautifully and will be enough to serve 4 people. You can either heat the sauce or toss in the pasta bowl with the pasta directly after straining it.
