Rustichella d’Abruzzo introduces ZeroTre, a new line of pastina for the youngest pasta eaters. 

Maria Stefania Peduzzi and her brother Gianluigi Peduzzi, owners of Rustichella d’Abruzzo, also own two progressive pre-K–6 schools in their hometown. At these schools, children work in the vegetable garden, eat wholesome foods and learn all about the traditional cuisine of Abruzzo.

Maria Stefania's work with the kids inspired the ZeroTre Pasta line, a collection of pasta cuts tasted, tested and most loved by the schoolchildren themselves. 

Rigatoncini ("little tubes") are crafted from organic durum wheat semolina and pure Apennine mountain spring water blended with a vegetable purée of carrot, pumpkin, and tomato. Served in clear chicken broth or simply with melted butter and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, they make a wholesome, nutritious, and fun-to-eat meal for children—or pasta lovers of any age.


ZeroTre Pastina is Rustichella d'Abruzzo's line of organic, fun-to-eat pasta for kids, created with nutrition top of mindAnelletti ("little rings") and Alfabeto ("alphabet letters") are made of durum wheat semolina, while Stelline ("little stars") and Rigatoncini ("little tubes") sneak in a whopping 35% organic vegetables. Stelline is made with a vegetable purée of spinach and zucchini. Mezzelune ("little half moons") are made with corn and rice flour for those seeking a gluten-free option.
