This extra virgin olive oil is pure perfection, well-rounded with many layers of flavor—tomato leaf and artichoke, herbaceous and pristine, disappearing off your lips with a lingering finish.

We cannot overpraise this masterful blend, every detail was tended to with obsessive attention, and the result is an intoxicating delight for those who get a taste of this small production oil. Titone extra virgin olive oil deserves all the acclaim and praise it has achieved over the years, and we expect this oil will continue to be applauded for many years to come.

The Titone family’s passion to produce a very high quality extra virgin olive oil stems from generations of scientific approach. Nicola and Antonella know that extra virgin olive oil is essential to a better and healthier life. It is no wonder their immaculate farm mirrors their devotion to one governing mantra: quality or nothing.

Organic farming has many interpretations in many parts of the world. The Titone family, because of their pharmaceutical background, have developed their own methods and standards. Their desire to have a pristine environment to live in drove them to surpass every norm and regulation that is embodied in the organic farming code of the area. These include far reaching moves in pruning, fruit-fly prevention and composting that have set new standards for agriculture as a whole.

The olives are harvested entirely by hand and pressed within hours with a high-tech continuous cycle frantoio (olive mill) producing a very cloudy green emerald oil. After a few weeks of natural decantation in stainless steel tanks, the oil is bottled by hand and released in very limited amounts.

Region: Trapani, Sicily.

Olive cultivars: Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola, Biancolilla,

Use the Titone Extra Virgin Olive oil as the Titone family does: because it is good for you.

It might feel sacrilegious to cook with this incredible oil. Almost a sin, since it's so good.

Eat plenty of vegetables and salads dressed simply with the Titone’s olive oil, a few drops of squeezed lemon juice and sea salt from Trapani. If you are going to serve pasta in the Sicilian tradition with anchovies and fennel, use the oil to drizzle on top once served.
