Sapori Divini Lemon
Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Lemons

Sapori Divini Lemon

This beautiful olive oil comes from Sabina, an ancient territory of central Italy situated to the northeast of Rome, which touches the modern regions of Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo. A tranquil, hilly region made famous by Renaissance depictions of the legendary Roman abduction of its women, Sabina yet remains relatively untouched by visitors or modernism.

The quality of life in Sabina can be sensed in the quality of its wonderful oil. Lands and farming techniques have been passed down from generation to generation without significant change. When you ask a farmer how long he has been growing olive trees, a typical response is, “I don’t exactly know, I learned from my father, and my father from my grandfather, and so on . . . "

For Sapori Divini Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the olives from one such farm are harvested from olive trees grown with deep respect for the land and with the application of ecologically-friendly methods. At the end of each harvest, the olives are crushed and pressed together with whole lemons—solely by mechanical means—to produce an exceptional, authentic flavored olive oil.

Sapori Divini Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Lemons is a blend of Leccino and Carboncella olives, and Sfusato Amalfitano lemons. The Leccino olives create a sweet, delicate oil, while the Carboncella olives provide a very fruity oil rich in polyphenols. Sfusato Amalfitano lemons are highly aromatic and lend the oil a fresh, assertive flavor and aroma.

The fresh citrus flavor of this delicious extra virgin olive oil makes it a natural for salads and seafood. We think it is phenomenal and comes at an excellent value.
